Lazy Ace 76in model airplane plan

Lazy Ace 76in

Lazy Ace 76in

The Lazy Ace radio -controlled biplane was designed by Chuck Cunningham and printed in the RC Modeler Magazine “R/C Modeller Plan and Article Series” in November 1977. Although this model designed is approaching 40 years old the biplane as built from these plans is timeless. The model has a 76-inch wingspan (the top wing) and the wing chord of 12 inches giving the total wing area of 1800 square inches, the fuselage length is 57 inches. The total weight ready to fly as 152 ounces. Recommended engine size is a.61 cubic inch glow engine. A four channel radio will control the rudder the elevator the aileron and throttle.

The article written by Mr. Cunningham accompanying the plans says that this airplane is a slow easy flying model. The construction of the Lazy Ace is conventional with no surprises and in some construction detail diagrammed on each of the three pages of the plans. The airplane from these plans appears to be one that would be a good addition to any model airplane flyer’s airplane squadron.

It is very important that you download and inspect the pdf file before placing an order, in doubt please ask us for an opinion. If after doing all this you still get a plan you don´t like we can always find a solution but it will never be a perfect solution so please download and inspect the pdf file before ordering. We will only refund plans that arrived damaged, not plans you order without being sure you like.
