Ross Flyer model airplane plan

Ross Flyer

Sig Air Modeler magazine's Ross Flyer

Clark Ross designed the "Ross Flyer", an entry level indoors "stick" rubber model, publishing it in
Sig's Air Modeler Magazine in 1967. The structure is quite simple to build and lightweight tissue would be adequate to cover the single-surfaced flying surfaces. Moderate care needs to be taken with the fabrication and installation of the wing's "parasol" wire supports.

You should verify if the source file has the quality for the type of construction you intend to do, we will print the file without any kind of enhancement or scaling. To know if the file is good please download it and open it on a pdf viewer like Adobe pdf viewer and set the view level or zoom level to 100% or 1:1 or full scale or actual size, depending on which version or pdf viewer you are using. Also, using the measuring tool make sure all the parts fit together and have the correct size.

Plans Scaling:

We can scale the Ross Flyer plan for you. But please keep in mind that if this plan is not vector, if you enlarge it too much the quality will be degraded.
To order a scaled plan please copy the plan url or ID and send us a message with the desired wingspan an any other info you may find useful.

AeroFred.com is not a plans shop, we are a community of model builders exchanging model airplane plans in digital and physical formats, the digital format plans are free the prints have a cost and are printed on demand. Since we are not a shop, we don´t stock printed plans so when you order a paper print it will be created for you, for this reason we cannot accept returns.
It is very important that you download and inspect the pdf file before placing an order, in doubt please ask us for an opinion. If after doing all this you still get a plan you don´t like we can always find a solution but it will never be a perfect solution so please download and inspect the pdf file before ordering. We will only refund plans that arrived damaged, not plans you order without being sure you like.

Orders can be paid with Paypal or Credit Card via Paypal and are shipped to the address on your Paypal account or to the address you set at checkout.
