Fokker Eindecker model airplane plan

Fokker Eindecker

Carstens Publications's Fokker Eindecker

This is a very historic plane. The beginning is for the ultimate scale model masters history of the real plane. Below will be the tech on building the model. (Enjoy)

Fokker was a Dutch aircraft manufacturer named after its founder, Anthony Fokker. The company operated under several different names, starting out in 1912 in Schwerin, Germany, moving to the Netherlands in 1919. The Eindecker fighters themselves were designed by Martin Kreutzer and 10 upgraded models were buillt. By any standard these were some of the first planes built in history for war. Only two original planes remain and one was the reassembled Immelmann E.I, with IdFlieg-issued serial E.13/15 in a museum in Dresden where it was destroyed by Allied bombing.

During its most successful period in the 1920s and 1930s, it dominated the civil aviation market. Fokker went into bankruptcy in 1996, and its operations were sold to competitors.

The Nick Zeroli Fokker Eindecker 52" model

Definitely a well built semi-scale kit that beginners to well established builders will enjoy.

As with most WW1 planes don't expect too much performance out of this. See the original specs above, the original only flew 87 mph. :) This plan does not show a fourth channel and servo for ailerons however many builders have modified and added the extra channel and even converted to electric.
Watch a real beauty flying in the link to YouTube.

Other models may take considerable time and skill to build but this one was for the whole line of hobbiests. I would expect that only the most devoted aviation model builders will even attempt this. Obviously need a fairly nice day for a inexperienced pilot.

Either way a beautiful historic model.
Flying Models still carries the original plans for this model.

Love building and flying. I've always flown on private property and only been involved with clubs twice. I live in southern Ontario Canada near Niagara Falls. I build at least one plane a year. I am fairly new to 3D helicopters.

My name is Donnie and I've been flying planes, helicopters, racing cars and launching rockets since 1970 when I got my first U-control plane from Carl Goldberg models. I finally got my first RC in 1983 a Cessna 182 kit with four channels. My favorite planes are 3D of every sort of aircraft. Anything capable of punching holes in the sky. IRL I work with programming and I use the skills I have to build my own designs and plans. Thank you for the donations.
