About the plan source:

You should verify if the source file has the quality for the type of construction you intend to do, we will print the file without any kind of enhancement or scaling. To know if the file is good please download it and open it on a pdf viewer like Adobe pdf viewer and set the view level or zoom level to 100% or 1:1 or full scale or actual size, depending on which version or pdf viewer you are using. Also, using the measuring tool make sure all the parts fit together and have the correct size.

this appears to be a C-119 Flying Box Car instead of a C-130
Thanks! AeroFredUneditedPlans on 15/01/2016 21:35
This is not a c-130 for sure... Thanks for commenting

My father was crew chief for the units that flight-tested both the C-119 and the C-130 into service. This model is neither one. However, it does look like it could be a fun build. Perhaps the offspring of a c-119/c-130 marriage. A C-124.5?

As the plan state "C-130.5 Twin Hercules"

I don´t think this airplane exists, it´s just a model.

I like this airplane VERY much! Thanks for the plan. I measured your plan wingspan to be roughly 16 inches. Is that about right? And do you have any photos of a finished model to post? Putting you on the spot, I am. :-) LOL

with a tip of the hat and regard,
Ken Barclay aka KENB

Hi Ken,

I added a few images from the web. The plan is not scaled to 16 inches, it measures 173 mm as it is but you can scale it a little.

This plans is marked as radio control, but it is clearly rubber powered.

I flew on a C-119 in 1965 from MacDill AFB to Keesler AFB on the way back to Eglin AFB. It sure resembles the profile of the plane I flew on back then, it had the twin booms on rear..

Its close but not this one. Look at the cabin and the rudder. This one is a fictional plane.
